JOHN T. WHITE NEIGHBORS UNDER PRESSURE FROM LANDMEN
Landmen from a gas company are combing the neighborhoods in this area, trying to get homeowners with mineral rights to sign a lease. A signing party was held at the East Regional Library on Friday, March 14th. Local neighborhood activists in the parking lot handed out flyers to people entering the library. The flyers contained information about the community-authored lease that will provide much better terms than the gas company lease, and not only in the financial sense. For more information, go to: |
