12-16-09: TEQUILA HAS BEEN FOUND .. AGAIN!
Yes this is Tequila, You might remember she did this same thing a month ago.  She made it to Arlington that time.  Lets pray she is lucky enough to make it back home again.  It has been determined that she is an escape artist.  Today while we were taking a rescued stay to the HSNT we received a phone call about two Standard Whippets roaming Green Hill Circle.  We were asked if we could go and try to catch them.  After leaving the HSNT we headed that way.  We located and captured one but never spotted the second one.  At that time we realized it was a tailless Greyhound not a Whippet.  After taking the captured one to Eastern Hills Vets to have scanned it was determined that it was Tequila's yard mate.  For whatever reason they did not stay together so as of this evening Tequila is still straying.  She lives in the area of the Eastern Hills High School, and where she was last spotted was just west of the Meadowbrook Golf Course.  PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR HER.  Not knowing how they are escaping their doggie door has been closed off and they are no longer allowed in the yard without being supervised until it can be determined how they are getting out.
