Let's keep our neighborhood clean!   Here are a few tips:

Bag and tie all garbage so trash doesn't fall out into the street on collection day.

Pick up any trash that may end up on your street or in your yard.

Know what can and cannot go in the recycling bins.

Follow the schedule for bulky waste pickups in your particular area.
(so your pink toilet doesn't sit on the curb for three weeks ....)

Cease the Grease! Dispose of bacon grease and cooking oil in the trash, not down the sink.   Large amounts can be dropped off at the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center at 6400 Bridge Street.  Clogged pipes can be costly, to you and to the city.

Sweep the leaves out of your street gutter.  Heavy rains can move those leaves down the drains,  into our stormwater pipes and cause backups and flooding to homes located near the drains.  Report blocked storm drains to 817-392-8100.

Two ways to report code violations in your neighborhood: by phone and online.  It's easy!  Here's how:

By phone, "Keep the Code Line" at 817-392-1234

Online, go to http://www.fortworthgov.org/codecompliance.
Find your issue and click on it.
Follow the instructions and fill out the online form, if so directed.

Just be sure to read the City website to verify that what you are reporting is a true violation.  The Code officers are busy and we want them focused on taking care of real problems.  Everything you can do to educate yourself about the City's procedures will help them do their job better!  And since Code officers change areas frequently,  it's best to file a complaint online.

Our current Code Compliance officers:
Dennis Williams (817-994-1368)
Marc Oler (817-879-8429
Ernie Dollar (817-944-8342)

PLEASE NOTIFY US OF ANY CORRECTIONS TO THE ABOVE INFORMATION BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO MEADOWBROOKTODAY@YAHOO.COM.  THANK YOU.
